Welcome to the Oundle Marina Village website and to the beautiful River Nene.

The Marina was created over 50 years ago by creating a cut through from the River Nene and flooding the local gravel pits.

This has now grown into a marina with nearly 200 non-residential moorings plus dedicated visitor moorings that can be booked in advance.

As well as the moorings there is also a well-stocked Chandlery, a gantry that can launch boats up to 62ft long, diesel & petrol, shower & laundrette and workshops where we can carry out any boat repairs, boat painting and engine servicing.

26th June 2015. The forecast for Saturday is good with a slight westerly breeze unfortunately Sunday afternoon looks like showers, so better break out the barbeques tomorrow! If you are out on the river the level is still low at the moment so avoid any shallow spots where possible. Please check on the Environment Agency website for any closures on the River Nene that might affect your plans.

The Environment Agency issues SSA to inform river users when river levels are increasing and when locks are being prepared to discharge flood water. Notice boards, flags and lights are displayed prominently on river banks to inform boaters of the status of the river. There is an EA 24 hour SSA hotline 0345 988 1188 or 0845 988 1188, choose option 1 then dial 032112 for the River Nene. Alternatively you can be added to the free SSA messaging system, find details on the EA website.

The Chandlery is open 6 days a week 9.00 – 5.00, only closed on Wednesdays. We  have Homefire Ovals (£12.50/20kg), Logs (£4.50) and Kindling (£4.50)  – you can park right next to the loading area or we can load you up on the quayside here. Following the recent drop in fuel prices our red diesel is only 80p per litre for heating – no need to be chilly!!

Nene Valley Boats are now an approved RYA training centre based here at Oundle Marina. You can find out more information by going to , where you’ll find details about either RYA Helmsmans or Crew courses which can be done on the centres boat or your own boat – gift vouchers are also available.

If anyone has some time on their hands over the Winter there is a group of enthusiastic boaters that have got together to try and improve the  facilities on the River Nene. It is all done on a voluntary basis & if you think you would like to help you can find their details on Facebook just look for  “Friends of The River Nene”.
